Additional Data Items for display in Data Fields and Pedaling Graph
February 17, 2015
The Pedaling Graph function will be improved.
- Addition of n-second average for Power, Efficiency, n-second average for Efficiency as options to be shown in the center of the Force Vector circle. (Currently Power only can be shown.)
The numerical field in the middle of the Pedaling Graph can be changed to Power, Average Power, Efficiency, or Average Efficiency.
When average values are selected, the Pedaling Graph is also synchronised to the same average period, which can be 3, 5, or 10 seconds.

Show the Torque value.
Torque is the product of the force in the direction of rotation multiplied by the length of the crank.
Power is calculated from the Torque and the cadence.
By showing the Torque value in this field, the force in the direction of rotation can be monitored while training without any dependence on cadence.

Left and Right Pedaling Efficiency can be shown together in one data field.
Efficiency represents the particular nature of pedaling in numerical form, and it is possible to train while comparing the difference in Efficiency between left and right.
For example, when the left side Efficiency is 60% and right side is 65%, this is shown as 60・65.
The efficiency values do not add up to 100%. They are the independent values for each side, not the ratio of Left to Right.

As well as the averages over different periods, the maximum of these average values during a workout, current lap or last lap can also be displayed.
During Sprint training, for example, using the lap button allows the rider to check the maximum ten-second-average power for the last lap.
