Regarding the firmware update of the SGX-CA500

In order to ensure you receive the most accurate and enjoyable experience from your SGX-CA500 Cyclocomputer, please confirm the content of the changes and update your Cyclocomputer to the latest version of the Firmware.

Main improvements

1. Average value for Speed, Power and Cadence can now be calculated to include or exclude "zero data" (e.g. intervals when pedaling is halted when riding downhill; such intervals are not included in the calculation of averages). Selection of this setting is possible in the following screen:

[Menu] - [Options] - [Average Data]

2. Touch Panel response speed has been improved.

3. The [ZeroCal] application has been improved to operate faster.

4. Several other minor improvements have been made.

Update method

The firmware update requires from 20 to 30 minutes in a high speed Internet environment.

Precautions

・Confirm that there is enough power remaining in the Cyclocomputer's batteries.
・Do the update in an environment that has a stable internet connection, that is not subject to interruptions.
