Regarding the firmware update of the SGX-CA500

In order to ensure you receive the most accurate and enjoyable experience from your SGX-CA500 Cyclocomputer, please confirm the content of the changes and update your Cyclocomputer to the latest version of the Firmware.

Main improvements

・Transmit ANT+ Bicycle Power (Beta version)

- Possible to send ANT+ Bicycle Power data with Pioneer Pedaling Monitor Mode.
- By using this function, you can use any ANT+ cycle computer with the Pioneer Pedaling Monitor Mode.
- You should enable this function every time you turn on the SGX-CA500.
- This function is a beta function. ANT+ transmission and reception may become unstable while using this function. If this function is not required, please remove the check mark from the check box to stop this function.

・Disable zooming data field with tap

- To enable this function, put a check in the check box at [menu button] - [Settings] - [Device] - [Tap to Zoom].
- Changing pages, Changing Screen Brightness and Data Fields Settings with tap and hold the screen work in a conventional manner.

・Traditional Chinese characters support

- (Some menus are displayed in English.)

・Made some performance improvements.

Update method

Use the update procedure below to update your firmware.
If the Cyclocomputer is currently logging data, turn off logging and save the log data before proceeding.

The firmware update requires from 20 to 30 minutes in a high speed Internet environment.

Precautions

・Confirm that there is enough power remaining in the Cyclocomputer's batteries.
・Do the update in an environment that has a stable internet connection, that is not subject to interruptions.
